Notifications

The bell keeps you posted between logins: billing swings, expired connections, new clients, and vendor cost increases.

You don't have to live in BillRecon to stay on top of it. The bell in the header collects the things worth knowing between logins, and the Notifications page is the full list.

What you're looking at

• Each row is one alert, with a dot on the left while it's unread, a title, a one-line summary, and its kind.
• The bell shows how many are unread, so a glance tells you whether anything needs you.
• Vendor cost alerts read a shade quieter (the slate lens tone), because a margin change is information to weigh, not money to bill.

The kinds of alert

• Billing swing: a reconciliation surfaced a notable change in drift since last time.
• Major discrepancy: a single gap crossed a dollar threshold worth flagging.
• Connection expired: a connection needs re-consent, and which clients are paused until you reconnect.
• New clients discovered: new clients appeared through a connection, ready to match.
• Vendor cost increase: a vendor raised a cost, with the margin impact.
• First reconciliation: your first run finished and your number is ready.

Your options

• Mark read or dismiss a single alert, or mark all read at once.
• Filter by kind to focus on one type.
• Tune what reaches you in Settings, under Alerts: which events notify you, whether in-app or by email, and a dollar threshold so small gaps stay quiet.
